Our Student of the night was Jack!
He’s new to our program but he has worked so hard to learn the details, he’s a good partner and has a great attitude. He’s one of the coolest five year olds I know now! I Can’t wait to see how he develops into a martial artist on the mats 🤩💪

He beat us to the post but we still gotta brag on him a bit.. Randy Lucas is always the hardest worker in the room, a lot of people learn a move, practice it a couple times and move on to the next one.. not Randy, he will take it home with him, practice it on his son, his training dummy, his ole lady, even his dog sometimes 🤯🤣 and it shows in his competitions.. but we really can’t say enough about this guy, he is always sacrificing his time for the gym and we couldn’t be more thankful to him.. he rarely misses a class and is always there to help us teach the kids classes, even though they call him coach white belt 🤣 but that’s all behind him now and I can’t think of anyone more deserving.. congratulations brother, you’ve more than earned it 👏👏👏

We took a small competition team of adults and kids to okc this weekend and competed in the AGF tournament and we couldn’t be prouder of our team!

Most of our kids had never even seen a jits competition before much less competed, we just got our kids program up and running at the beginning of the year and these kids went and put it on the line anyways against some of the most talented kids divisions I’ve seen! We walked away with some hardware 🥇 🥈 🥉 and a much clearer idea of what we need to prioritize and work on, coaches and students alike! Great job to all the competitors 👏

Our adults went out and crushed it 💪 walking away with 4 silvers and 4 golds between 3 competitors! Great job guys 👏

Everyone carried themselves with humility in victory and defeat and that’s the most important thing!! Congrats everybody 👏👏👏 Can’t wait for the next one!!

🌟 Student of the Night: Mason! 🌟

Big congratulations to Mason for earning Student of the Night! His hard work, focus, and willingness to learn stood out on the mats. I’ve had the privilege of coaching Mason in multiple sports over the years, and he’s always been one of the most well-rounded kids when it comes to attitude, discipline, and being coachable. keep it up! 👏🥋

This week we reviewed the sit-up sweep and worked on a slick variation that transitions into a sneaky submission. It’s always fun watching our students start connecting techniques and seeing the bigger picture of Jiu-Jitsu.

Watching these kids grow in skill, confidence, discipline, and resilience every time they step on the mats is one of the best parts of coaching.

Membership Information

* Invoices are sent on the 1st of each month and are due by the 7th.
* Starting after the 15th? You’ll only be charged for half of the month, then your first full month’s invoice will be sent on the 1st of the following month.
