Transition Flares are a difficult action to guard especially because the defense is usually not set & you can capitalize on the defensive mishap. Watch Tatum initiate it here & slip out right away causing just enough confusion for an in rhythm 3.

Going against a team that top locks? Punish it by setting up a backdoor for a rim finish.

Part 2 of Free Throw IQ!

They're pinching your best rebounder? No problem.. Follow this next step for a chance at an O-BOARD on a FT ⬇

4 and 5 swap sides (by sprinting) the second the ball leaves the shooter’s hand. The pinch closes on nobody, and now you’ve got inside position for the board. Be sure to block out in the event of a miss for a second chance opportunity!

*please note, positions may vary based on your team dynamic. Your best rebounder could very well be a big guard, does not have to be a 4/5.

Want to be disruptive on defense? Incorporate the concept of blindside steals into your defensive identity. Once the offense has their back turned and there is an opportune time for a blindside steal, send the closest defender in & go for it!

Would you add this concept into your defensive DNA? Comment below YES or NO ⬇ & let me know what else you want to see 👀🏀
