Established in 1999 in honor of our 6 fallen brothers, the WFD6K has become Worcester's largest road race and family event held the second Sunday in June.

We will be accepting walk up registrations on Saturday from 10am - 4pm as well as race morning at Institute Park beginning at 9am. If you plan to sign up race morning, please arrive an hour early and note t-shirts are not guaranteed.

Sneakerama is also the location of our pre-race packet pickup on Saturday from 10am - 4pm. Pick up for you and your group to avoid stress on race day!

As we gear up for Sunday’s WFD6K, it’s a good time to review the course! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️🏃

This is a simple, looped course - those in the 3K fun run/walk will complete one lap. Those in the 6K run will stay to the LEFT when they approach the finish line to complete a second loop before finishing.

The Kids Race will start to the left of the finish line banner and travel down Salisbury St towards Grove St before a U-Turn back to the finish.

It’s RACE WEEK (!!!), which means it’s time to plan your packet pickup. A few notes:

⚡️ We highly recommend picking up on Saturday between 10am - 4pm to avoid stress on race morning!!

⚡️ We DO allow you to pick up for your group, so send one representative from your group with a list of names and bib numbers

⚡️ If you plan to pick up or sign up on race morning, please plan to arrive at least ONE HOUR early to Institute Park

Each year, we kick off the WFD6K with our 1K Kids Race. All kids get a medal at the finish line and parents are welcome to run alongside their children. This event is a fun way to introduce kids to running!
