When it comes to practice, our players come together in fellowship. Every single meeting, we pray together, play together, and win or lose together. The congregation is strengthened in community and in future leadership by sharing these common goals. Our program builds a team, promotes community building and future leadership, and encourages exercise and healthy living. Last years’ success, proved that kids can work together to foster teamwork between present and future generations. We use these skills to support the Wesley United Methodist Church and promote youth programs that nurture more of this learning. Our team is made up of multicultural youths, both male and female, Ghanaian, Nigerian, Liberian, Jamaican, Hispanic, and Caucasian. The youth eager to play competitive, vigorous sports ranging in ages from 9-15 years of age. Economically, the team has players who predominantly come from the middle and low income brackets.
