We love to see more quidditch teams đź’š

Hello everyone!

The Ashwinders would like to announce that several Brown students are looking to form an official university team. We hope to raise funds to support this venture and the future of Brown students playing quidditch. We understand that now is a difficult time and therefore would be extraordinarily grateful for your help. Donations are also attached with the following perks:

$5 - We will write a quidditch-related poem about you!
$10 - We will send you custom quidditch stickers (see below)!
$15 - We will perform a TikTok song/dance of your choice!
$20 - We will perform any challenge you send us, with the following rules:
It has to be free
It must respect COVID-19 guidelines and social distancing
Team members have the right to decline requests

Donations can be sent to our venmo (-winders) and requests can be sent to us via Facebook. We’re also flexible on these tasks/numbers - let us know how you’d like to participate!

Let’s have some FUN-draising!

The Wargs echo the sentiments of the Ashwinders. While we have a special connection to Lebanon through one of our teammates, we encourage EVERYONE to read about the tragedy and donate if you are able. We also suggest visiting Impact Lebanon for more information on how to help. 🇱🇧❤️

Today marks , the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration of the ending of slavery in the United States. Yet, most K-12 education has failed to incorporate this historic day in curriculums.

Do some good and look good doing it

Simply email Savage a copy of your donation receipt (photo, PDF) to [email protected], and they’ll give you a one-time use code for a FREE Black Lives Matter jersey to show your support of the movement. Congratulations to our very own Sam Bauer, who graduates from Clark University today! Sam was a newcomer to quidditch when he joined the Wargs and we’re so glad that he did. A former member of Clark’s rowing team, Sam brings energy, spirit, and passion to every practice. Congrats bud!

We are sad to hear that MLQ has been postponed. Hopefully things will pick up again when it is safe! Sending lots of love to our MLQ teams and to Night Riders!

The MLQ Directors have made the unfortunate but necessary decision to indefinitely postpone the 2020 MLQ regular season and all in-person MLQ events. That said, we will continue to explore all potential contingencies going forward to possibly make a 2020 MLQ season happen later in the year. Read more, including our plans for “MLQ Virtual,” an online substitute for the summer season that, while having nothing to do with quidditch, will have everything to do with our players and competition ➡️ http://ow.ly/QvjR50zLWYx

Now that the weather’s nice you KNOW these are all we’re wearing. Who should we add to the collection?
