New Sunday Schedule!

Monday playoff schedule week 1:
Top tier
The Wrecking Crew IX came in 1st with 36 points. There was a tie between The Rack Pack and Rackless Behavior for 2nd with 35 points, however when the 2 teams played each other on June 8th The Rack Pack won 3-2 and on Aug 17th Rackless Behavior won 4-1. This means The Rack Pack got 4 points and Rackless Behavior got 6 points off them putting them in 2nd. The Rack Pack is 3rd. Exe-Cuetors took 4th with 32 points. First plays 4th at 1st’s home and 2nd plays 3rd at 2nd’s home. This means The Wrecking Crew IX will face Exe-Cuetors at FOE and Rackless Behavior will face The Rack Pack at FOE. Next week the two winning teams by standings will play off for 1st and 2nd and the teams that lost, by standings will play off for 3rd.
Bottom tier
All Chalked Up came in 5th with 30 points. Ball Busters came in 6th with 27 points. Money Shot came in 7th with 21 points. 5th plays 8th at 5th’s home and 6th will play 7th at 6th’s home. This means All Chalked Up has a bye and Ball Busters will face Money Shot. Since both tables at FOE will already be taken Ball Busters must choose a neutral bar or play at their opponent’s bar. Please make this decision by Thursday at the latest.
Teams who owe for the session must be paid to play in playoffs! Please remember to use the playoff division for scoring and teams do pay for playoffs. Good luck everyone! Teams who place will be put in the Qualifier for next year’s nationals at Kalahari Resort in Sandusky, Ohio.

New Thursday schedule

Formal apology.

For a long time building this league I have moved from team to team starting a new team, waiting to find a good captain and leaving to start another team. I always thought that licensees could replace a roster spot regardless if I had enough matches for playoffs when I was not allowed to play in playoffs anyway. It has been pointed out to me that that is not the case. As since a player was taken from one of the rosters of a team that played in the qualifiers. That player had enough matches to be a replacement. I, however did not.
He was disqualified. The last team matchup before the finals was looked at and since he lost there was no match to overturn. The team finished without him and lost to Wrecking Crew 1X.
Since this clarification I have removed myself from any 9 ball team roster for the 9 ball qualifiers and will not be replaced so there are no disputes. I have revised the bylaws for the league and the rule will be enforced. I apologize to any and all players affected. I guess it’s time to participate more fully to comply.
I will not, however let it discourage me from building the league that I built with all your help from 4 teams to almost 50. 19 teams attended the Rally this year. Our biggest yet. Next year I hope it will be bigger. I will close with that and thank you all for your time.

Top tier
Strict-9 beat Hustlahs and The Mentals beat I Need The Six. This means Strict-9 will face The Mentals at The Itam playing for 1st and 2nd and I Need The Six will face Hustlahs at Paradise Bar playing for 3rd.
Bottom tier
The 9’s Ballers beat Fa-Cue and All Racks No Balls beat Cue Masters. This means The 9’s Ballers will face All Racks No Balls at FOE playing for 1st place bottom tier.
Teams who place please remember to take team photos. Please remember to use the playoff division for scoring and teams do pay for playoffs. Good luck everyone! Teams who place will be added to the Atlantic City Qualifiers Sunday Aug 30th at The Billiards Cafe in Ayer. If your team placed more than once your team must choose which roster to use in the tournament. Doors open at 10am, captain’s meeting at 10:30, we start at 11 on the 30th.

Thursday playoff schedule week 2:
Top tier:
Silence, I’m Shooting beat New Tradition and Nines beat Fuk-Sake. This means Silence, I’m Shooting will face Nines playing for 1st and 2nd at Somol Club and New Tradition will face Fuk-Sake at The Vernon Hill Post playing for 3rd.
Bottom tier:
Bar Flies beat The Regulators and Ball Busters beat Am Legion. This means Bar Flies will face Ball Busters at the Itam playing for 1st place bottom tier.
Please remember to use the playoff division for scoring. Take team pictures if you want them on your plaque if you place. All teams who place are in the 8 ball qualifier for Atlantic City at the Billiards Cafe in Ayer Sunday Aug 16th. Doors open at 10am, captain’s meeting at 10:30, we start at 11. Single elimination and same rules as nationals or the Rally. 1 time out per rack (twos still get constant coaching but the coach can only approach the table on a time out. No marking with chalk or $ but a wallet, lucky coin or chalk holder is fine. If your team already placed in a previous session since the last qualifier you may choose which roster to use for the tournament. Top two teams in the qualifier go to Atlantic City!
