Wrapping up a great week at 2019 US Nationals.
Our athletes did phenomenal. Day one was tough with two of our juniors fighting in new divisions. They both fought well but fell just short of victory in the very last few seconds of their matches.
Day 2 took a brighter turn. Two of our athletes fought their way to the podium. Andrew Lima took home his second gold medal at Nationals while Jackson Clemons earned his first Bronze. Matt Ribeiro held the lead in his first and second round but just missed the gold medal in the end of round 3.
Overall we are incredibly proud of all the athletes and families. They worked so hard over the past year and are nothing but determined to learn and improve from their experiences this year. Maybe a week off and then it's back to work!
