EASTERN YORK REC CARNIVAL - VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

Eastern York Recreation Authority (EYRA) is now organizing the long-standing community event formerly known as the Hellam Carnival! The event runs from August 19-22. As before, EYRA volunteers will be staffing a food stand on August 19, 20 & 22 (fireworks night) serving pizza, hot dogs and drinks. We need 3-4 volunteers per shift to take orders and hand them out. The Rotary Club will now be operating the funnel cake trailer.

This is a great fundraiser to support EYRA programs and services and maintain the facilities we use!

The Carnival is held on the men's baseball field at Franklin and Orange Streets, Hallam. The men’s baseball team will be staffing the stand on 8/21 (car show night). Please review the available slots and click on the button to sign up. Thank you!

Invite a Friend! This is a great way for anyone new who might be interested in trying the sport before registering for the winter season.

Players may attend all or part of the session. If for any reason we need to cancel, an email will be sent. Also watch this FB page for updates!

There is no fee to attend, and players do not need to register in advance. However, attendance will be taken at each session. Parents - Please accompany your player(s) each week to sign them in an acknowledge the liability release to participate and use the gym.

DO NOT bring a basketball. Equipment will be provided.
Please wear comfortable clothing and sneakers. No jewelry. No Hats.
Water bottles are encouraged as there is no water fountain available.
