Here's what some of my guys have been working on the past two sessions. Late stages of phase 1 off season Hockey and then In season Baseball workouts.
Spent the last 7 weeks building basic foundational strength for the Hockey guys. Just a few weeks away from hitting our heavy strength based compound movements.
Baseball guys are in season for travel right now so their training is a bit different. Still building basic foundational strength. I believe that should be revisited often. Not so much in this particular session but we do TONS of scap work. I love bear crawls in general but even more so with the baseball athletes. A lot of guys have progressed up to doing them with resistance now which is so much harder than it looks! In my current program for the Baseball athletes I have them on a 2 or even 3 to 1 ratio for pull to push. I'll post videos and more info soon!
