Got out for some evening fishing last night. Bite was solid including another triple header which is always fun.

Although bottom bouncing is not my thing, I figured I would take the remaining days in May and work on bettering my harness game. We finished this 2 man limit with a triple header💥🎣

Jig bite started out real good on the American side. Jigged for about an hour then switched to pulling meat which was a bad move. Caught more jigging than bouncing. Of course, this is what took all our jig fish 🔥

Did some fun fishing today with my buddy Captain Paul Doute. Little chilly to start, but we had a blast jiggin the D.

Finally got some time to get out! I will keep you updated on the jig bite for the next few weeks, and let you know if I have to vary from Berry Blast lol. Next up, salmon jigs and spinners. Let’s keep it going DET peeps.

Solo trip this morning couldn’t have gone better. Jig bite was 🔥 today and they were eating the jig! My May go-to Berry Blast with a morning dawn ribbed worm took the fish. This color puts more fish in my boat in the month of May than all others combined.

If you enjoy jigging PM lake and can go to this meeting, we could use the voices to keep everything in check.

You guys gave me so many ideas that we tried the fish 3 ways. All were terrific with most people liking the shore lunch/andys Cajun combo batter. Might have to give the actual Andy’s batter mix a try, still looking for that nice super crisp batter. So good though, thanks for the ideas.
