Yesterday's Tech races were amazing! Sorry for only a few posts, but it was basically non-stop action. Here, reigning champ Jake Portwood (right) is battling it out with Campbell Carter (left) after the final buoy turn in the Men's Open division. Portwood narrowly beat Carter by a 3.3 second margin after the last 100m sprint to the end.

You can take the boy out of the review, but not the review out of the boy (or something like that). I used my last training session before races this weekend to do some comparative testing between my Quick Blade UV 88 and the new Ruckus Flyweight Race paddle. Looks like I'll have some matching kit for the 10k race on Sunday!

It doesn't make any sense to test whitewater boards on flat water, so we took to the river! These four whitewater boards are staged just above a park 'n' play wave feature - perfect for running laps and testing how these different river boards handle some spicier water.

Picture Day! This is only about 1/4 of the new boards we're reviewing this spring 😲 it's gonna be a busy couple of months!
