Wow, what an incredible run for Joey Canova. From kids states, national champion, in all 3 styles of wrestling, to a HS states champion, to Princeton University. I remember Joey, from a very young age, how much he wanted to win, but not only that he also spent a lot of time on the wrestling mat, regular classes, clinics, and privates. I remember Joey throwing the wrestling dummy, which made him stronger and technical, also I remember Joey how much he use to cry when the practice didn’t get his way! Joey was at Olympic for the past 12 years and for sure, we will miss Joey. We wish Joey good luck for his next step in life. Princeton will be very proud to have an incoming student-athlete like Joey! We will miss you and never forget where home is, Olympic.
