There was a season of my life where I thought exhaustion was just part of being an adult.
A wife.
A mother.
A business owner.
I convinced myself that being tired all the time was normal.
That everyone felt overwhelmed.
That everyone pushed through.
That everyone put themselves last.
And maybe they do.
But that doesn’t mean it’s working.
One of the greatest gifts yoga has given me wasn’t flexibility or strength.
It was awareness.
The awareness to recognize when I was running on empty.
The awareness to notice when I was disconnected from myself.
The awareness to understand that constantly pouring from an empty cup wasn’t serving anyone.
Not my family.
Not my community.
Not me.
These days I still have responsibilities.
I still have hard days.
But I no longer wear exhaustion like a badge of honor.
And that’s a lesson I continue to practice every single day.

Share the benefits and wisdom of yoga in an environment that supports and inspires our community.
Binds are interesting.
Most people think they’re about flexibility.
Getting the hands to touch.
Reaching a little farther.
Achieving the shape.
But like many things in yoga, there is more beneath the surface.
Physically, binds ask for a combination of mobility, stability, awareness, and patience. They invite us to create space in the shoulders, chest, spine, and hips while staying connected to the breath.
The harder we force them, the more they tend to resist.
The same can be true in life.
We all have things we cling to.
Expectations.
Old stories.
Control.
The way we thought something was supposed to go.
Sometimes we grip so tightly that we create tension where there could be freedom.
A bind teaches us an interesting lesson:
Can we stay engaged without forcing?
Can we remain committed without gripping?
Can we create space while still holding ourselves together?
The goal isn’t getting your hands to touch.
The goal is understanding what happens within you along the way.
This Sunday we’ll explore binds in our Asana Lab, breaking down the mechanics of the poses while also exploring the deeper lessons they have to offer.
Because yoga was never just about making shapes with the body.
It’s about learning something about ourselves in the process.

Ladies…
Have you ever wondered what it feels like to wake up on the morning of a retreat?
To know there is nowhere you need to be except exactly where you are. No errands to run. No meals to prepare. No one asking for anything from you. No rushing from one responsibility to the next.
Just a few hours devoted entirely to your wellbeing.
This Seasonal Reset Mini Retreat was created to offer a glimpse of that experience.
Imagine arriving on a slow summer morning and being guided through intentional movement, breathwork, meditation, sound, meaningful rest, nourishing brunch, and herbal mocktails or mimosas—all thoughtfully designed to help you step away from the noise of everyday life and reconnect with yourself.
By the end of June, many of us are already feeling the effects of a full season. The shifting schedules. The constant demands. The mental load of holding everything together. This retreat is an opportunity to pause before exhaustion becomes the norm.
Whether you’ve attended a retreat before or have always been curious about what makes them so transformative, this is an invitation to experience the power of stepping away, even for a few hours.
You deserve time to be supported. Time to be nourished. Time to remember what it feels like when someone else holds the space and all you have to do is show up.
Spots have been intentionally limited to create an intimate experience. Don’t let this become another one of those moments where you find yourself saying, “I wish I would have signed up.”

What most people call “stress”…
is often a nervous system that’s been running in overdrive for too long.
When the body doesn’t feel safe, it stays alert.
Tight. Busy. On edge.
Yoga, when practiced with intention, helps bring you back.
Back to breath.
Back to your body.
Back to a place that feels steady.
This is the work we do inside the studio every day.
If your body has been asking for this… it’s time to listen.

Slowing down doesn’t mean doing nothing.
It means giving your body a chance to reset.
Your breath deepens.
Your shoulders soften.
Your mind gets a break.
That’s the work.
If you haven’t felt that in a while…
come experience it this week.

You’re not tired because you’re doing something wrong.
You’re tired because you’re holding too much.
Your body isn’t asking for more intensity.
It’s asking for regulation.
That’s what we practice here in the studio.
If you’ve been running on empty… this is your place to reset.
