Parker football and volleyball Parents and Athletes. Tuesday is the deadline to purchase meals for the upcoming seasons. Take advantage of this opportunity for a worry-free game day with Feed The Athlete meals service provided by our PTA.

Good morning Parker Boys Athletics Families,

I hope this message finds everyone well and that you all had a great week! Our coaches enjoyed getting to know your athletes more these first two days of school and we're looking forward to a productive year of growth!

I want to communicate as much information as possible through email to keep everyone informed and up to date. Most communication will focus on the current in-season sport, but I will also send reminders and important information regarding off-season athletics.

General Athletics Information
Please continue to check your email for updates, schedules, reminders, and other important athletic information.

Off-Season Athletics
The first day of off-season workouts will begin during school hours on Monday, August 17.
Off-season athletes (All Non-Football/XC Athletes) should bring the following each day:
Athletic shoes
Parker athletic shirt — or wear a plain blue shirt
Black athletic shorts
Water bottle

Football Athletes
Football practices will begin Monday, August 17, prior to school. Drop off athletes at gym doors. See team practice schedules below:
Parents should join SportsYou for all Football communication. Use: Class Code - MP2M - 2ET3

7th Grade
Athletes can enter the locker room at: 6:00 AM
Practice begins: 6:15 AM

8th Grade
Athletes can enter the locker room at: 6:30 AM
Practice begins: 6:45 AM

Cross Country Athletes
XC practices will begin Monday, August 17, prior to school at Wylie East High School. See details and team practice schedule below:
Parents should join SportsYou for all XC communication. Use: Class Code - L7HN - D5L2
Parents will drop athletes off at Wylie East HS for practice and transportation will provide
buses back to Parker at 7:45 AM each morning
Practice begins at: 6:30 AM
Days that the HS has a meet the JH will not practice in the morning and those dates will
be relayed via SportsYou

Breakfast
Football and XC athletes should fuel their bodies accordingly prior to morning practices. We encourage athletes to bring additional breakfast items for after practices. We will have granola bars available for athletes, as needed.

Schedules
The current football game and XC meet schedules are attached. Based on the number of athletes we have that are in Football, we have made some schedule changes already. ALL GAMES, 8th and 7th grade will begin @5:30 pm. There will be no B team games as we only have ONE team in both grades.Please review them and keep them available for future reference.

Great seeing everyone last night at the equipment pickup at Parker weight room and locker-room!

Thank you for your support and for helping make our football program a success. If you were unable to attend, I will also be available during Meet the Teacher on Wednesday for equipment pickup and questions.

Your Rank One forms and physical packet must be completed and approved before you can receive your locker and football equipment.
