Saturday: Open Mat at 11 AM
Monday: Labor Day Open Mat at 11 AM — all regular classes canceled.

Open Mat is open to all affiliations with no mat fee. Everyone is welcome!

Another packed Friday on the mats with our 6–8 year olds.

Watching this program continue to grow has been special. Different personalities, different levels, boys and girls, all learning together, building confidence, making friends and getting better every week.

Tomorrow we get to celebrate their hard work alongside the other kids and adults at our belt promotions. Proud of this group.

They might be our smallest students, but this is where some of the biggest lessons begin.

Learning how to listen. How to work with others. How to be confident. How to win, lose, get back up, and try again.

Most importantly, learning that the people standing next to you on the mats are your teammates.

Watching these little personalities grow together is one of my favorite parts of what we do at VA.

Every training partner pushes you, challenges you, and helps you become a little better than you were yesterday.

On the mats, it doesn't matter what you do for a living. Police officers, business owners, teachers, engineers, parents, and students all come together with the same goal: to learn, grow, and help each other improve.

Before long, teammates become friends, and the academy becomes a second home.
