It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Dave Bennett, the longtime voice of the Outlaws and a friend who left a lasting mark on everyone fortunate enough to know him. Dave never met a stranger. From the very first conversation, you were no longer just someone he met; you were a friend. His smile, his stories, his laughter, and his larger-than-life personality made people feel welcome wherever he went. For many years, Dave’s voice became the soundtrack of Outlaw events. He brought excitement, passion, and heart to every pull he announced. But beyond the microphone and beyond the track, Dave was something even more important: family. He was the kind of person people counted on. The kind of friend who showed up, who cared deeply, and who made every gathering better simply by being there. His presence brought people together, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who knew and loved him. While our hearts are heavy, we are grateful for the memories, the laughs, and the countless moments Dave gave us over the years. His voice may be silent now, but the impact he made on our sport and on our lives will never fade.
