The **Yakima Vipers Coaches Pledge** is more than words. It is a commitment from our coaches to be fair, prepared, accountable, and focused on developing our players the right way.
It also reinforces something we want every Viper to understand:

Playing time. Positions. Starting spots. Leadership. Opportunities.
Players earn those things through **hard work, effort, attitude, respect, discipline, academics, and how they carry themselves on and off the field.**
Our coaches will teach, challenge, encourage, and give players opportunities to grow — but we will also honor the work of the players who have earned their opportunities.
Parents, we ask you to help us reinforce one powerful question:
**Instead of “Why didn’t I get it?” ask “What do I need to do to earn it?”**
That mindset builds more than football players. It builds strong students, teammates, leaders, and young people.
