Brookside Swim and Tennis Club

We’re excited to share that the pool will officially open tomorrow at 4:00 PM, and we’ll also be open this Saturday and Sunday!

There are still a few areas we’ll continue to improve and clean up, but we’ll provide updates on those in the coming weeks.

We also have several fun events planned for the summer, so please keep an eye on the pool website for details!

📣We will be at the pool TODAY, May 21ST at 5:30 PM, and would appreciate help with the following:

Install diving boards
Place mats in the lobby and bathrooms
Set up bathrooms
Secure the area around the diving boards
Set up cones and post caution signage
🗓️ Opening Weekend Plan

📣We’re planning to open the club on Friday afternoon, but due to a few unforeseen issues, the pool will not be ready for swimming just yet. You’re still welcome to come by, enjoy the grounds, and spend time at the club.

📣Here’s the latest plan:
Friday: Grounds open, no swimming
Saturday: Hoping to open, weather permitting
Sunday: Targeting our first full day for swimming, weather permitting

In addition, we are offering a master's class for adults, which is also open to the public.

🐸🐸We’re very excited to welcome Destiny Clements as the new Brookside Swim Club Pool Manager!

Destiny brings over 16 years of progressive experience in aquatic operations, including roles as a lifeguard, swim coach, aquatic manager, and instructor. She has extensive experience supervising and training lifeguards and instructors, managing daily pool operations such as scheduling and staffing, and overseeing guest services. Destiny is a certified Lifeguard Instructor through the American Red Cross, responsible for training and certifying both new and returning guards. She has also coached swim teams, organized swim lessons and aquatic programs for all ages and skill levels, and consistently upheld strong safety standards—responding effectively to emergencies and maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for all patrons.

We’re confident she will be a great leader for our staff and a valuable resource for our members.

A big thank you to everyone who came out for cleanup this past weekend! We made great progress and are getting closer to opening day—but we still have a few key items to complete.
The pool will be open today (Sunday, May 17) and each evening this week for continued prep. If you’re able to lend a hand, please let us know so we can ensure the pool is open and ready.

📣Friendly reminder that this Saturday, May 16th, we will be holding a pool cleanup day to put the final finishing touches in place as we prepare for the upcoming swim season.

Purchase and spread mulch
(Plants would be a wonderful addition if anyone has some to share)
