Race recap
September 6th
We had a great day at the track!
A great day with family and friends! Tons of laughter, kids running and playing!
With a slimy track during hot laps it was has to get a feel for the car. We decided not to make any changes before our heat race. We didn’t have a good heat race, had a tough time getting the car to turn but we finished 4th.
Made changes before the main and it made all the difference! Lined up 4th. Had a good start jumped up to second or third coming out two unfortunately other cars made contact with each other bringing out a caution before we even completed a lap. Had another good start stayed up towards the front. Missed my mark on a couple of corners getting pulled to the top but was able to make spots back up on the straights. We had a couple more cautions, doing all we could to stay up towards the front until we unfortunately made contact with another driver breaking our upper ball joint on the right side. With two to go we fell back to 10th but we finished the race.
Made some quick parts changes in the pits, loaded the car into the trailer!
We have one more points race left for the season!
