Celebrating 40yrs of the YFSC!!

Attached you will find the letter that was sent out from the YFSC to its members regarding the change in affiliation that was not brought on by the club, but seems to be in the best interest of both organizations.

Being an alumnus of both the team and the club, when an organization removes all of the information of the one person that had brought the sport of synchro to NY from the Midwest from the history section of their website, I find is disrespectful. Yes things change and that’s fine but then amend and not remove. Sylvia was a one of a kind coach and was beloved by all of her skaters. She was one of the most caring coaches out there who put her heart and soul into her single and team skaters.

The YSFC has renamed the competition to: The Annual Sylvia Muccio Memorial Competition. There will be a Presentation at 11:00am on Saturday, March 28th to the Muccio Family. We would love to see you come and support the Muccio Family
& the Club.

It is with deep sorrow to announce the passing of Melanie Miksad. Her daughter Marissa was part of the Yonkers Figure Skating Club and Team Image for many years.
The funeral arrangements are:
Tuesday 4/17 at 11:00 am at Weinstein Funeral Chapel

The Shiva will be held at Lois Siegel's home ( her sister)on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 1-9pm
