Today, we celebrate an incredible milestone: 25 years of Rich “Tool Time” Cessna with KemperSports.

Anyone who has had the privilege of working alongside Rich knows that his work ethic is truly unmatched. No one works harder, cares more deeply or gives more of himself to the people and property entrusted to him.
Rich leads with integrity, kindness, compassion and fairness. He treats his team with respect, supports them through challenges and would never ask anyone to do something he wouldn’t be willing to do himself. That kind of leadership is rare, and it is why he is so genuinely respected and loved by his team.

Then there is the other side of Rich, the quick wit, the unforgettable characters and the sense of humor that can make even the most stressful day a little lighter. His love for the game of golf runs deep, although anyone who knows “Tool Time” knows that his love for tools may have it beat by just a fraction.

Rich, congratulations on 25 extraordinary years. Thank you for your leadership, loyalty, friendship and the countless ways you have made a difference in the lives of so many people fortunate enough to work with you.

Here’s to 25 years of hard work, heart, humor, golf, and, of course, a whole lot of tools.

Who loves ya, baby? We all do. Congratulations, Rich! 🧡💚

Today is Thank a Golf Course Superintendent Day, and we’re celebrating our very own “Sodfather,” Ben Alford!

Ben and our incredible maintenance team work tirelessly behind the scenes to keep Black Gold looking and playing its best. From early mornings to long day, and plenty of challenges in between, their dedication can be seen across every inch of the course.

Please join us in thanking Ben and the entire maintenance team for everything they do! ⛳️👏
After all, he makes the grass an offer it can’t refuse cutting one blade at a time!!!
