I want to thank the PA Micro Midgets LLC , Photos By Mandie B Airport Speedway , I did not know what to expect when I headed down to race, I knew I was going to get to see all our friends. I knew it would be very tough. I can say that they are not just friends they are family. Thank you too everyone I got to catch up with and if I didn't get to see you I'm sorry. I did not know that this was going to happen at the start of the feature. I was blown away . From having my fellow races wanting this to happen in Tara Loomis memory to riding around and seeing the people in the grand stands standing and applauding, to trying to wipe the tears from my eyes on place laps. From 20 to 8th thinking I may get hard charger. (That Tara loved) then the throttle cable broke with 3 to go to a dnf. Next i find out that i finished 17th! (Stop it!! Lol) I'm sure she was smiling about that. Thank you too everyone for the support. I hope i get to see all of you again this year, it all not be soon enough!!

Where do I start, it has taken me a couple days to gather my thoughts about this past weekend. I never thought that I would sit in a racecar again. Hell I didn't think I would attend a race again. I have to thank all the amazing racing family for all the support, it has helped greatly even if you didn't know it did. Weeks ago I was convinced by my friends John and Robin to go to the bowl, the first of many little steps. I was content to just go up and help, but there is a race coming up on 8/1 at Airport Speedway put on by the PA Micro Midgets LLC Photos By Mandie B that means the world to me! Tara Loomis would be so disappointed if I went to a race without the car. so I made the decision to take it out and try to find out if I could mentally get over that hurdle. So off i went to devils bowl to try, I stopped at the cemetery with the car in tow, I don't know why. I felt that I had too. After sitting and talking to her for awhile I proceeded on to the track. The car count is lite there this year so a good place to try. As everyone knows not a fan of winged racing with only a feature I started 8 and ran 4th for most of the race but for a lucky caution with three to go and was able to slide it in for a third place finish. Normally I wouldn't be happy with that finish. Under the circumstances I am. I don't know where to go from here other than I will definitely be at her memorial race. I can't wait to see all my extended family in pa with the micro midgets. Thank you, if you read this far and listening to my story. Once again thank you too everyone who has helped me get to this point with all the support and just talking to me.
