IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING FALL 2020 SEASON:
It is with the deepest regret that we announce that there will not be a SCPAS 2020 fall season. We are just not able to ensure the safety of the players, coaches, officials and fans. Also, we are not able to organize and conduct a full fall outing, with the uncertainity of school district openings as well as the sustainability of an interscholastic fall sports schedule. This is a very difficult decision and one that is not made lightly. We are hopeful for more favorable circumstances in the months to come that will allow softball to be played as it should be - without social distancing, masks, gallons of hand sanitizer and with huddles and high fives. Thank you for your understanding.
South Central Pennsylvania Softball, Inc.
SCPAS provides opportunities for youth to participate in organized, after school and summer recreational athletic programs.
We cover a geographical region of over 1600 square miles, encompassing students in over 20 school districts. In our 2014 summer season, we registered over 2000 players on 165 teams. We offer play in the following levels:
7U introductory level
10U coach pitch
Minor divisions for purely recreational play
Major divisions for recreational competitive play
Tournament level play with the Lady Revs
IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING SCPAS SUMMER 2020 SEASON:
It is with extreme regret and a deep sense of heartache that we announce the cancellation of our entire summer 2020 recreation season of youth girls fastpitch softball. Last evening, this decision was confirmed by 12 representatives that formed a work group to help guide our decision making at the beginning of this crisis.
We want you to know that this decision was not made lightly. We have spent weeks developing alternative scenarios to put the players on the fields but in each case, we were unable to do so without jeopardizing the health of players, coaches, officials, and fans. Additionally, as we attempted to overlay our playing calendar with the recently released CDC/White House Recommendations, we were unable to see a way clear to play a meaningful season.
Finally, we are cognizant of the disruptions to the education system during the pandemic. Our players collectively attend over 20 different school districts. It would be irresponsible for us to potentially expose people who can carry the virus back to their respective schools.
As disappointing as this news is, youth sports is about teaching life lessons that will be remembered long after the memories of the softball season passes. We call on all our players and coaches to keep in mind that we are giving up our softball season so that we can keep our teammates, families, and communities safe.
Thank you for your understanding and please be healthy.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING SCPAS 2020 SUMMER SEASON:
At this time, based on both the information we have available to us and the uncertainity that exists with school closings, SCPAS is delaying the start of the 2020 summer recreational softball season until June 8, 2020. Additionally, recogonizing that teams are under the control of their local organizations and not SCPAS, our stong advice is to stop all team activites until further notice.
Even though the start of our season is delayed, it is still our goal to play as much of the regular season as possible. We are currently examining several different scenerios that would allow us to continue with that goal in mind. However, there are significant details that need to be worked out. Additional information will be circulated at a later date.
It is also important to keep in mind that there is a significant amount of prep work to complete 2 weeks prior to the start of games. Any delay in our ability to complete that work may cause further delays in our season. Finally, this situation is very fluid and further updates may be necessary. Please check our website for updates in the future.
Thank you,
SCPAS

Nice to see some of our teams on the field for the parade! If you are here at the York Revolution game with us, tag us in your pictures from tonight! We hope you have a great time and enjoy the game!
It was an absolutely gorgeous weekend for the 2018 SCPAS 10, 12 and 14 playoffs. The weather was stellar and it appeared that everyone was having a good time, even though they may not have had the result they were hoping for. We were able to keep everyone mostly on schedule and only had a few delays. All in all, it was an outstanding weekend.
From the volume of emails and calls we had earlier in the week, we were not the only ones concerned we would play at all. But thanks to the crew from the Pleasureville Youth Club for really stepping up, working hard, and getting the fields in great condition for us to play. They did a fantastic job and on behalf of the 60 or so teams that were there this weekend, we say Thank You Pleasureville Youth Club for you efforts this week so we can play.
Thank you all for another terrific summer season of youth fastpitch softball.
