NM whitetail backstrap with Argentine chimichurri and Pomme Frites with garlic and Parmesan. Why I hunt…because this dinner for 2 and a bottle of wine would have been a buck fifty at least in a restaurant and most likely not as good…all natural, organic, wild and friggin’ delicious!!!

This is Why I Hunt!!!
I hadn’t bought a package of hamburger in the store in about 15 years…and barring another airplane ride where I can’t bring some kind of wild game burger or locally ranch fed beef with me, I never will again.
The price for this “cheap stuff” just about knocked me over. The color, the smell, and the fact that you could just tell the meat lacked a lot of the “good stuff” and left a lot to be desired.
I’m thankful for hunting ALL the time, but times like these really puts it all into perspective. If only people knew….
(I wrote this a year ago while on a trip with my family and again, it serves as a great reminder for how great hunting and wild game is. I have only recently learned how crappy some of these foreign need practices are. Support your local farmer/rancher when possible!)

Why I hunt…because I didn’t have to spend $250 on dinner! All natural, organic, delicious AF!!! NM cow elk tenderloin with chimichurri sauce, baked potatoes and Argentine Malbec!

This one was a hit!!! Restaurant quality and didn’t have to pay $29.95 a plate! NM whitetail butter, garlic and herb steak bites with rigatoni alfredo and fresh parsley. All natural, organic, and friggin’ delicious 😊
