2026 IR50/50 Indoor National Championships+ March 9 through March 14 at Piney Hill Benchrest Club in Luray, VA

22lr rimfire shooters, we have a big week's long of Indoor Championship Series competition events the week of Monday March 9th through Saturday March 14th at the historic Pine Hill Benchrest Club Luray, Virginia!!!! (Please don't be intimidated by the "National Championships" in the event title... we're all basically just a bunch of recreational shooters who like to compete and see how our skills stack up against other like minded shooters)

Here's a list of events:

Monday, March 9th starting at 4:00PM: Factory Nationals (yards / meters)

Tuesday, March 10th starting at 3:00 PM: Factory Virginia State Yards
Tuesday, March 10th starting at 4:30PM: Factory Mid-Atlantic Regional Yards

Wednesday, March 11th starting at 3:00PM: Sporter 10-Shot Nationals

Thursday, March 12th starting at 3:00PM: Unlimited 10-Shot Nationals

Friday, March 13 starting at noon: Sporter Nationals (yards / meters)

Saturday, March 14th starting at 9:00AM: 3-Gun Nationals (yards / meters)

Tony and I have been trying to bring back the atmosphere and camaraderie surrounding these events to the way we remember how things were we first started shooting the IR50/50. Just lots of people with a common interest and love for shooting getting together to compete and have fun. It seems like everyone who attended the Indoor Sporter and 3-Gun Nationals last year had a great time so we're doing it again this year and added on the additional matches for other disciplines.

We've got trophies, medals, award certificates, poker chips (for all of your HOF points), door prizes (thanks to some help from Carbon and Steel), the return of the daily 50/50 drawing, etc. The kitchen at Piney Hill will also be open each day and Ronnie Leake will be serving up some of his fine home cooking (we do ask that everyone show their appreciation to Ronnie by contributing to the Tip jar in the kitchen.) But the main goal is for everyone to have fun and enjoy themselves!

A special note for Factory Shooters:
The Indoor Factory Nationals match is going to be something special!!! Since this is the first time an IR50/50 Indoor Factory Nationals or even an IR50/50 Indoor Factory Meters match has been held, the following IR50/50 records will be up for grabs:
Indoor Factory Meters Single Target Score,
Indoor Factory Meters 3-Card Agg and,
Indoor Factory 6-Card Agg.
Setting any of those records will not only get your name in the IR50/50 records book, but it will also earn you bonus Hall of Fame points!!!

P.S. If you haven't shot at Piney Hill in the last few years (for whatever reason), things have changed. The Piney Hill Benchrest Club folks have done a fantastic job of cleaning up the place and the range looks great!
