Yup⦠we have another welcome to the farm post!!! This time, for Maysen and her stunning 8 year old gelding thoroughbred, Scout.
Maysen helped her previous trainer (who owned Scout), exercise and train him for a year before she decided she had to have him as her own. Maysen has been riding for 11 years and has owned Scout for the past 3. When she met Scout his extremely friendly personality drew her in and was a big part of her falling in love with him.
Scout, the brave guy, went all the way to Virginia Tech with Maysen to support her through college while competing in Hunter jumping along the way. Maysen graduated this spring (CONGRATULATIONS) and has chosen KF as their next horsey home.
The pairās goal is to continue showing in the 3ft hunters while also exploring the trials when possible.
Maysen is very thankful to be a part of the KF fam and excited to see what the future holds!

Welcome to Kentucky Farms Porter, a 5 year old quarter horse and his owner, Lilly!
Lily has been riding since she was four and has always dreamed of owning her own horse to love and grow with. When her mom saw an adorable little quarter horse for sale on Facebook, she jokingly reached out to get more information. And as most of us know, once you reach outā¦. You end up with the horse!
While Lilly and Porter have already done some cross country and trail rides, they want to try it all! The short term goal is to get into the show ring and find out what Porter enjoys and thrives at!
Porter has very quickly become Lillyās literal dream come true! Their entire family is so excited to have him as part of the family and to see what the future holds for this pair.

Welcome to KF Nimbus and Alaina! We cannot forget to mention Alainaās mom also, Rachel.
Nimbus is a six year old off the track thoroughbred that stole Alainaās heart while she was helping train him at his previous barn. While he started his post racing life learning the ropes of Hunter jumping, Alaina wants to expand that to include eventing! She just knows he can do it all, showjumping, dressage, AND cross country.
Alaina is a true horse girly! She began horse riding when she was eight and spends every possible moment she has, at the barn. And now, she gets to start her next chapter as a first time horse owner with her handsome boy, Nimbus.
We canāt wait to see what these two accomplish and root them on. Welcome to the barn!
