Team, if you want to watch some solid 6A Women's Basketball I just found out that my former high school is playing for the 6A State Championship for the first time in school history tomorrow night at VCU in Richmond. The game starts at 6pm!! Audrey and I will be there so if you want to attend let me know and we'll save you a seat!

Team pictures from our pasta dinner and team bonding this evening before we enter the Conference Championship tomorrow after defeating Hornsby in the semifinal game last night! These young ladies have worked their hearts out all season long; here's hoping we can bring home the Conference Title tomorrow night!! GO YORK!!

Parents, families, friends be sure to CONGRATULATE these young ladies for taking 2nd in the Bay Rivers district regular season play!! With a season record of 8-2 (11-2 total season wins) they enter the Bay Rivers Conference tournament as the two seed. This is a HUGE accomplishment for these young ladies having finished fifth last year and missing the conference tournament by one game. Our first postseason game is Monday, February 4th at 4:30pm, home at Yorktown Middle School. Our Boys team finished the season in 2nd place too so this is your chance to support YMS in a home, semi-final double-header match-up! It's going to be a great night!! GO YORK FALCONS!!

HUGE YMS Girls Basketball win tonight over the undefeated Tabb team taking them to 9-1 on the season! BIG GAME against Grafton this Wednesday at 4:30pm. We’re playing at home so come support these young York Falcons!!

Super proud of my YMS Girls Basketball team as they move to 8-1 on the season in their win over Berkeley this afternoon. Most important games to come: Tabb on Monday and Grafton on Wednesday. I believe we can get this thing done!! Falcon Proud!!

Big wins by both the YMS Girls and Boys basketball teams last night. Keep the competitive spirit Yorktown!! Both teams travel to James Blair on Monday.

We started off slow but managed to get back on track early with another win on the road this evening against Toano. Stay focused ladies we face Hornsby Monday night and they want to prove that they deserved that Kiwanis trophy not you!
