Little Hakas Registration is Open!

We’re excited to offer Little Hakas to families across the greater Yorkville area!

Designed for players ages 3–6, Little Hakas provides a fun, safe, and engaging introduction to soccer through one training session per week in a 6-week program. Our focus is on developing fundamental movement skills, coordination, confidence, and a love for the game—all while having fun!

We believe every child should have the opportunity to play, which is why we’ve kept the program affordable and accessible. Our flexible 6-week format allows families to participate without the commitment of a full-year program.

At HAKA, we believe long-term development is more important than short-term results. Every training session is designed to help players grow technically, tactically, physically, and mentally.

Little Hakas Soccer Program

For players aged 3–6, with two age-appropriate training groups:
• 3–4 years old
• 5–6 years old

6 different 6-week sessions throughout the year — so you can pick and choose your level of commitment

Haka SC is excited to offer our Summer Soccer Clinics for families throughout the Yorkville area. These sessions are designed to help players improve their technical skills, confidence on the ball, decision-making, and game understanding in a positive and challenging environment.

We are proud to officially announce Gianna as the Director of our Little Hakas program.

Gianna brings over 13 years of playing experience and a lifelong passion for youth development through sport. Her journey in soccer has cultivated a deep appreciation for leadership, teamwork, and the positive impact that athletics can have on a child’s confidence and growth.

Currently a junior at Aurora University, Gianna is pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Special Education with an ESL endorsement. Her academic background, combined with her experience working directly with young children, provides her with a unique understanding of how to create engaging, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate learning environments.

In addition to her studies, Gianna has coached early childhood and preschool-aged players at Kickers, where she focused on building foundational skills, confidence, and a genuine love for the game. Her ability to connect with young athletes and foster a positive learning experience makes her an outstanding leader for our youngest Hakas.

At Haka SC, we believe the early years are the foundation for a lifetime of growth. Our Little Hakas program is designed to develop more than just soccer players—it is designed to develop confident, resilient, and capable young people.

Player development remains at the heart of everything we do. Through purposeful coaching, meaningful relationships, and an environment that celebrates each child’s individuality, we strive to create experiences that leave a lasting impact both on and off the field.

We are excited for the future of our Little Hakas program under Gianna’s leadership and look forward to the positive impact she will have on our youngest players.

We are proud to officially announce our Character Development Specialist.

Megan grew up playing for an elite volleyball program and continued her athletic career at the collegiate level for four years. Through sports, she developed a deep understanding of the discipline, resilience, teamwork, and confidence that athletics can build in young people.

Professionally, Megan serves as an elementary school social worker, where she supports students’ social, emotional, and behavioral growth. Her passion for helping kids build confidence, character, and meaningful connections aligns directly with the values and mission of Haka SC.

At Haka SC, we believe that every kid has the potential to be great, it takes care and attention to develop the character in a player.

Development is at the forefront of our ideology. But not just focusing on the player as the person and what makes them unique will take players a lot further in life, shaping who they will be for the future.
