Outstanding semester in the classroom by our student-athletes posting a 3️⃣.4️⃣8️⃣ team GPA this spring!

We also maintained a 3.52 cumulative GPA following the conclusion of the academic year!

All-MAC 'Guins✅

Congratulations to Mackenzie Flannigan and Molly Brooks for being honored by the MAC in the release of the conference's specialty awards!

Flannigan was named First Team All-MAC after a record-breaking season where she set single-season program records in ground balls (55) and caused turnovers (39).

She led the MAC in CT/G (2.44) and ranked second in GB/G (3.44).

Brooks was named to the MAC All-Freshman Team after recording nine goals and three assists during her first collegiate campaign.

Her nine goals and 12 points both ranked fourth-most for YSU this season.

In her final career game last Saturday vs. Eastern Michigan, Mackenzie Flannigan moved into first place on our career caused turnovers list, wrapping up her YSU career with 56 CT.

Penguins Fall to Eastern Michigan on Senior Day - Youngstown State University The Youngstown State women's lacrosse program closed out the 2026 campaign on Saturday afternoon against the Eastern Michigan Eagles. The Penguins honored six seniors before the contest.

Claire Baenziger had team-highs in goals (2) and draw controls (6).

Mackenzie Flannigan broke the career CT record, ending her YSU career with 56.
