In fall of 2011, my wife's career brought us to Lexington, KY and I dabbled back into my equipment realm and was hired on as a Tech Rep for Cleveland/Srixon Golf. I traveled to some of the nicest facilities in southern Ohio and northern Kentucky and did demo days. I was fortunate enough to receive the position of Head Golf Professional at Longview Golf Club in March of 2012, just a few weeks after Cherry Blossom purchased the property. I am proud of the relationships I have built with our players, our Wednesday Night Men's League, annual Chilly Open, and the growing success of our stay & play golf packages. However, teaching is the most crucial part of growing the game of golf. Many people pick up the game, try to learn without proper instruction and without proper equipment, get frustrated and thus give up too easily and quit too soon. In 2019 my wife and I returned to our hometown area of Youngstown, Ohio and I am back where it all started...Golf Headquarters. The store underwent an expansive remodel both in store and online and I am thoroughly enjoying my position as the head golf professional and lead club-fitter, as well as being a part of our marketing team. Nicklaus, Palmer, Hogan and Woods all held and swung the club differently. Some people have physical limitations that others don’t. That does not mean that they cannot excel at golf. I implement a golf swing that works for them and a swing that will give them the best results and the most enjoyment.
