has been serving the Lafayette and Broussard area since 1987 and in that period of time has come to be recognized in the community for its high standard of excellence as well as its sincere interest in the welfare of its students. Through the loyalty, cooperation, and interest of the community, along with the hard work and dedication of its staff, MSDC has become the top ranking most progressive studio in the area.

Meet one of our amazing MSDC teachers! 🩰💕

Meet Mrs. Emma! 💗

💃 Years in Dance:
Dancing for 16 years
Teaching for 5 years

🏫 When I’m Not at the Studio:
I am in my last year of school majoring in Education, so I work as a teacher intern at Earnest Gallet. I also babysit for an amazing family in Lafayette.

✨ How Dance Helps Me in My Career:
Dance has taught me that hard work and determination can be the bridge to any of my dreams and goals. Through the many hours each week that I spent in the studio I learned that the best things in life come from working hard. In my career this helps me to push through the tough times and see the light at the end of the tunnel.

🩰 Fun Fact:
I danced in Disney world for UDA nationals in 2020 and placed for the first time in our school history.

We are so lucky to have Mrs. Emma as a part of the MSDC family 🫶🏼🤗

“I work as a third grade teacher at Milton Elementary.”

✨ How Dance Helps Me in My Career:
Being a dancer and a dance teacher has helped me in education with time management skills, discipline, resilience, and has prepared me for working with children at their developmental level!

Dancing for 22 years (since I was 5🙈)
Teaching for 8 years

💼 When I’m Not at the Studio:
“I work as a Massage Therapist at Pascales Spa”

💗 How Dance Helps Me in My Career:
Dance has helped me in my career by teaching me a strong work ethic and perseverance. It has taught me how to push through even when I’m tired, stay committed when things get difficult, and keep working towards my goals

✨ Fun Fact:
My daughter was featured on Good Morning America at just 2 years old 😂
