⭐️HISTORIC TAP CHOREOGRAPHY⭐️
▪️The Walkaround/Coles Stroll
Beginning/Intermediate Level
Recommended for Fast beginner/Intermediate students with basic tap dance technique who are comfortable dancing in a 1/16th note rhythm, weight shifting, and swing rhythms.
▪️The BS Chorus
Intermediate/Advanced Level
Recommended for Intermediate/Advanced students with a strong grasp of tap dance technique who are comfortable with double time steps, maxi fords, grab offs, and wings (possible modification). We will be doing it at multiple speeds to accommodate a variety of levels in class.
▪️Laura
Advanced Level
Recommended for Advanced students with crispy clean tap technique who can keep up with fast paced choreography and are proficient in lightning fast slurps, crawls, paradiddles, grab offs, over the tops, and tricky rhythm and weight shift changes.
Dancers will start with warm ups and technique brush up before diving into Historic knowledge and choreography. By the end of class, students should be able to confidently perform a new Historic tap dance!

Ages 14+
Barre classes are a low-impact, high-intensity workout that blend ballet, pilates, and yoga. Set to upbeat music, it focuses on small, controlled movements and isometric holds to fatigue the muscles, build endurance, and improve posture without straining your joints.
⭐️ADULT CONTEMPORARY DANCE⭐️
Recommended for 16+ who are interested in an introduction to Contemporary dance. Dancers will learn basic techniques, play with textures, movements, improv, and basic floorwork. All skill levels welcome!

⭐️BEGINNING CONTEMPORARY FLOOR WORK⭐️
Recommended age 7+
For dancers who are new to contemporary dance or have less than 2 years of experience in the dance style. Dancers will get comfortable with basic floorwork such as front and back rolls, split rolls, modern rolls, knee spins, coffee grinder, flares, crescent rolls and more. learn how to flow through coming in and out of floorwork, and put together combos combining skills they have learned.
⭐️INTERMEDIATE CONTEMPORARY FLOORWORK⭐️
Recommended age 11+
For dancers who have more than 2 years of experience in the dance style and are comfortable with beginning floorwork as well as inversions and cartwheels. Dancers learn more complicated variations of beginning tricks and will learn new tricks that require strength and balance, as well as do more exercises to help them feel connected to the floor.
Please bring kneepads and dress appropriately to be sliding on the floor (dancers may want shoulders and legs covered to avoid “Marley burn”.

Learn the fundamentals of Hip Hop with this workshop focused on building confidence, rhythm, and musicality. This highly requested class will be taught by our newest instructor, Christa McCauley! ⭐️INTRO TO CHOREOGRAPHING⭐️
Recommended Ages: 13+
A workshop for any budding choreographers who want to start learning the basics of setting choreography. Dancers will learn tips and tricks to creating choreography for different styles of dance, how to make dance moves flow together, modifying choreography for different skill levels, creating interesting shapes and formations for the audience, tips for teaching choreography, and more!
Dancers will spend time working together to create a group piece as well as spend some time working solo with different songs to create individual pieces of choreography.

⭐️PHYSICAL COMEDY WORKSHOP⭐️
Recommended Ages: 11+
Instructor: Christian De La Torre
Commedia dell’arte started in northern Italy in the fifteenth century, and has four stock character groups that all have a purpose. We have “The Zanni” (clowns/servants), “The Vecchi” (Masters/The Elderly), “The Innamorati” (The Lovers), and “Il Capitano” (The Captain). We will learn a few character physicalities, some improvisation in small groups, exercises that develop a stronger diaphragm, and more!
