This is just a reminder that games for both Mighty Mite and Youth Flag Football will begin this Saturday.

Mighty Mite:
You should have received a letter in the mail with your welcome letter and schedule.

Youth:
You should have received a phone call from your coach with your practice information and game schedule.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the Mayor’s Cup Pickleball Challenge on Friday, September 13.

Our Winners:
Brenda Hood and Mike Johnson (picture attached with Vice-Mayor Cardoza and Councilmember Espindola)

$4,540 was raised that will be donated equally to Friends of Yuba City Parks and Recreation, Casa De Esperanza, and Environmental Alternatives Family Services.

Yuba City Parks & Recreation is in need of 4 Flag Football Coaches.

We need two coaches for ages 8-9 Minors and two coaches for ages 10-11 Majors.

Coaches receive half off one child's registration fee and get to choose their practice time. Coaches must be available for one 1-hour practice during the week (of their choosing) and one 1-hour game on Saturday mornings.

Register today for Mighty Mite Flag Football!

Girls and Boys will be introduced to basic flag football while using Nerf equipment. Recreation staff will work with kids to help develop teamwork, learn the skills of the game and to simply have fun. Children will learn skills for 25-minutes, take a 5-minute break and then play a 30-minute game.
