Consistency is hard, but to me doing nothing and wishing I was doing something is harder.
I wanted nothing more than to lift lift lift heavy like I always have 4 days a week while I was pregnant, but I knew I wouldn’t be able to sustain that or be consistent. So I stuck to what I could be consistent with.
My goal was movement. Movement gave me a beautiful recovery after my second baby, even if it wasn’t the movement I wanted for myself.
I did spin most of my pregnancy, and walked an average of 15 thousand steps when I worked on the unit. This is what was realistic for me and what was realistic gave me consistency.
You can have consistency too 💕
