Good afternoon folks. The holidays can be a challenge for a lot of Americans when it comes to food consumption. Yes the holidays offer great food from all different kinds of people, and this food many have soul and love in it! Regardless… as a personal training client you’ve made a commitment to your trainer and to yourself. If you’re like I am with my clients, we have goals and commitments to stick to. During this holiday there will be many influential people that may talk you into falling off of your goal path. Understand that you may have to say no to some of these people or groups, it may include not going to one or two of their parties. Simply tell them you have too many other commitments. If every year you feel that it’s acceptable to put 8 to 20 pounds on during the holidays, you may want to change that this year. Make conscious decisions and pay attention to the ones that create you to be vulnerable and make bad decisions. If you’ve worked hard as a personal training client, trust me your trainer is thinking about you and hoping and wishing that you stay the course. ❤️

5 EASY STEPS for WEIGHT LOSS

1) Record your daily calories in a small notebook (use your average). This means if you are on a vacation or something out of “your” balanced routine, don’t start in on this endeavor.
2) Create a deficit in your caloric intake by the end of the day, maybe do this for however long you want until you get your desired results. Going to bed with a surplus of calories ie (larger dinners, late night snacking or just generally larger calorie meals) for extended periods of time will create a bank account of calories that any linebacker in the NFL would be happy about.
3) Increase your water intake substantially. Most Americans are dehydrated.
4) light exercise is all that is required. Observation of daily calories, awareness about food and knowing what circles of humans to hang out with will give you the ability to be successful with your body goals without working too hard (which most Americans do for their own reasons).
5) Be happy about your “Journey”. Many folks consider it a contest with peers on how much progress we can gain faster. This idea dumps most people. Making unreasonable comparisons between other humans is silly. Follow your own path of progress. Enjoy your journey.

Squats, lunges, and Stiff legged deadlifts. When these exercises are preformed properly, they have the ability to transform your body to be greater. But without mindful eating, not you or anyone will see your results! Eat well and train hard!
