One day closer to race day! Trying to stay cool during the hot AZ summer temps so we work a little at a time at sundown. A few more things to prep tomorrow evening then we'll be heading out to ! Can't wait to get back in the dirt and see everyone. See you all soon!

3 days to be behind the wheel is 3 days to grow a little more. What an amazing weekend of racing at Barona Speedway. Got to turn around 100 laps over the weekend and figured a few things out while doing it!

Saturday night I was able to finish every race. The Heat into the B main where i was able to transfer into the feature. Started on the end at P20 and was able to maintain and just avoid everything that unfolded in front of me securing an 18th place finish.

Night 2 was definitely the best night. Set the car a up a bit different than we'd been running just to try something new so I wasn't sure how that would play out. I P-drew a 1 which set me up to start 1st in my heat race. Stayed towards the front dropping back 2 spots but battled to secure the P3 spot which put me right in to transfer to the Main event. Redraw set me up to start in p2 for the main and I was a little nervous. The car was on point and was handling better than it had. My start was solid but I dropped back a few spots behind some really great cars and fast drivers (expected ☺️) stayed up in the top 5 for a few laps but got nudged going into turn 1 and almost lost it but recovered and came out still in the race in the top 10 of the field. The battle went on there was a lot of back and forth for that 9th spot on the field between myself and another car. I got a little ahead of myself coming out of 4 and somehow managed to spin out sliding across the finish line and finishing in p12 🤷. All in all it was a great weekend of racing. I learned to push myself a little harder, trust the process and give myself a little grace for how far I've come to this point. The 8m is a little banged up but nothing we can fix. Successful day of practice at . Getting the 8M back on the track for some shake down laps did not disappoint. Car felt great, almost better than before! We have some work to do to get our mindset right again. Nerves were a little high but we pushed through and conquered the day. Could not be here without the help of our sponsors this season.
