Here is a shoutout to these two Cibola 2X D1 State Champs, Johnny Sierra and Liam Hoffmeyer! Not only did these two studs defend their state title, they had to beat two other wrestlers who were also trying to defend their state titles! So ya!! They had to beat state champs to become 2x State Champs, definitely not an easy task! To add to their accomplishments, both of these scholar athletes will continue their journeys to West Point Academy (Johnny) and Air Force Academy (Liam). Definitely, Yuma County’s best wrestlers!

Great post well said also thank you to all the Coaches who have played a role in the development of these two great student athletes Zac Vicente Guerrero Mike Noelani Jankowski Miguel Lugo Richard Thomas Mahan Martin Avila Clayton Wall & anyone else we missed to include all the teammates that have pusehed them to there limits along the way. All the teammates that these two have practice with along the way in the Cibola wrestling room , grinding day in and day out for the past four years during blood , sweat and tears , during the ice bath, during the weight cuts , during the bleacher runs etc the list goes on and on . Wrestlers are definitely a different breed.
