Our Day Campers had a wild adventure yesterday!

We were excited to welcome for a hands-on educational experience featuring turtles, tortoises, lizards, and snakes! Campers had the opportunity to learn fascinating facts about these amazing animals, ask questions, and get an up-close look at some incredible reptiles.

Experiences like these spark curiosity and create unforgettable summer memories. Thank you to Realm of the Reptile for sharing your knowledge and passion with our campers!

Last night was week two of our Kids Art Program at the Muskingum YMCA, and these young artists are already growing so much!

It’s been awesome watching them get more comfortable, try new ideas, and show off even more creativity each week. We’re so proud of the work they’re putting in and can’t wait to see what they create next.

Nerf or Nothing!

The kids went all out during our first Nerf Wars, bringing plenty of energy and excitement to the Muskingum County Family YMCA . Even better, it was great to see them making new friends, working together, and sharing lots of laughs throughout the evening.

Thanks to everyone who joined us—we can't wait to do it again next week.

When Glory first started swim lessons at the Muskingum County Family YMCA, putting her face in the water or floating on her back felt bigger than the pool itself. But week after week, lesson after lesson, she kept showing up with determination and courage. 🌊
Today, we are so proud to celebrate Glory as one of our youngest swimmers to successfully complete the American Red Cross Water Competency Sequence and earn her yellow wristband! 💛
Her journey is the perfect reminder that confidence is built one brave moment at a time. We are incredibly proud of her persistence, growth, and the way she never gave up, even when things felt hard.
Way to go, Glory! Your YMCA family is cheering you on every step, splash, and swim of the way. 🏊‍♀️✨

Another incredible Lifeguard Class is officially complete 🛟❤️

Over the past two weeks, these students dedicated themselves to learning lifesaving skills including CPR, first aid, spinal management, water rescues, teamwork, and emergency response. The training was demanding, fast-paced, and rewarding, and this group rose to every challenge thrown their way.

As the busy summer season approaches, these newly certified lifeguards are heading out to pools across our area, ready to keep their communities safe in and around the water. That’s something worth celebrating 🌊

To wrap up the class, they traded rescue tubes for one last moment of fun by jumping off the diving 💦

We are so proud of the hard work, determination, and heart this class showed throughout their training. Congratulations to our newest certified lifeguards!
