It has been a minute...
I have been a little MIA...
Working out has always been my “me time” and my outlet. Then it turned into a job. I lost my own passion for going to the gym because it was no longer my escape. I love training clients and teaching them to be their best self, but I was losing my own personal focus.
To find my focus, I stepped out of my comfort zone and it led me to CrossFit Contour. I needed a coach and someone to push me. I craved the discipline that I was losing and I wanted to broaden my own beliefs and experiences with health and fitness.
Whether you love bodybuilding, yoga, aerobics, CrossFit, or any other style of working out there is going to be something or someone that brings out the best in you. If you need help finding that passion, reach out to someone. If I can’t help you, I will show you someone who can.

When you’re leaving for Las Vegas in three days, you celebrate boot camp with a little fun from a deck of cards 🎲🎰
♥️ = Dumbbell Thrusters
♠️ = Push-ups
♦️ = Mountain Climbers
♣️ = Kettlebell Swings
Every face card was 3 burpees‼️
Get a deck of cards, flip one card over at a time, and perform the movement indicated by the suit and the number of reps based on the number on the card. How fast can you perform all 52 (or 54 in our case since I left the jokers in the pile 🤪) movements?!

Murph ♥️💙🇺🇸
1 mile run
100 pull-ups (or ring rows for me)
200 push-ups
300 squats
1 mile run
We sweat for all of those who cannot sweat anymore. The feeling after is exhaustion and exhilaration. This is one small thing I could do for everything our soldiers have done for us. Thank you.

My name is on a sign‼️😱
And that smile on my face is because I have an army of amazing people who have helped me get my name on a sign - I am incredibly thankful for the support 💜🖤
We started the fourth session of boot camps this evening and there’s no stopping us!!
Everyone is at a different level in these boot camps, but each person goes until the last second and does not give up. It’s inspiring to see the group support and togetherness.
This sign is not just my name, it is the KST army. It represents all of us, at every level, because it’s all for the love of movement. 💪🏼

Nutrition + Traveling 🚗✈️🍌🍓
We have so much control over the groceries we buy and the food we prepare at home, but what about when we are traveling? It’s almost that time of year when people are going on vacations, weekend getaways, and eating out - Yay! 🙌🏼
Which also makes people think it’s impossible to stay on track with their nutrition.
News Flash!!! It’s not impossible ‼️
I will be the first to say that you should and deserve to enjoy your vacations (WE ARE HUMAN), but you do not have to waste all of your hard work and dedication in the gym.
Here are some of my tips:
1️⃣ Pack some of your own staple items. Mine include oats, protein powder, almond butter, and almonds.
2️⃣ Check out your hotel to see if they offer breakfast or a fitness center (if not, get outside!).
3️⃣ Pick nutrient dense foods (prepackaged pastries might taste good for breakfast, but they don’t have the power like oatmeal or eggs).
4️⃣ Choose higher protein options.
5️⃣ Eat healthy fats to help you feel fuller longer.
I created my own oatmeal at our hotel this morning 😋 I packed protein powder, oats, and almond butter and then got the jelly and banana from the hotel breakfast bar. Is it pretty? Nope, but I’m satisfied and stress-free about staying on track while traveling.
Get creative, don’t stress about being perfect, and remember that you CAN do this 💪🏼

It’s Monday.
I’m going to guess that many of us woke up stressing about everything we have to get done during the week, wishing it was still the weekend, or wanting to hit snooze about 10 more times.....
Nope, just me?! 🤣🙋🏻♀️ (kidding)
I’m also going to guess that you haven’t done anything yet to set the tone for your week. Have no fear, it’s not too late!
I’m setting the tone for my week based on what I love about my job. I love being a personal trainer because I like to help people believe that they can do hard things. I like to help people believe in their strengths and abilities.
Setting the tone for your week can help you stay focused and on track. It’s an extra piece of motivation.
Let’s set the tone for your week - What do you love about what you do? 💜🖤
