Zanesville Junior’s Post 29 Loses Despite Out Hitting Beverly/Lowell

Zanesville Junior’s Post 29 fell 8-3 to Beverly/Lowell on Tuesday at 420 Fifth St despite out-hitting them seven to four. CAM HARROP led Zanesville Junior’s Post 29 with two hits.

Beverly/Lowell got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Caden Henniger singled to center field, and Maximus McDaniel walked, each scoring one run.

Beverly/Lowell added one run in the third after Lucas Hager walked.

JAXSON BAY began the game for Zanesville Junior’s Post 29. The starting pitcher surrendered two hits and six runs over three and two-thirds innings, striking out three and walking 10. Wade Duskey stepped on the bump first for Beverly/Lowell. The starting pitcher surrendered seven hits and three runs over six innings, striking out two and walking three.

BRODY MERCKLE, HARROP, and MASON WICKHAM each drove in one run for Zanesville Junior’s Post 29. Zanesville Junior’s Post 29 turned two double plays in the game.

Zanesville Junior’s Post 29 outsted New Phila Black Sox Jr Legion Post 139 15U 4-1 on Sunday at 127–183 Townsend St.

Zanesville Junior’s Post 29 got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after NOAH CORNETT was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, and HUDSON CHEMA singled, scoring two runs.

HUDSON BROWNRIGG began the game for Zanesville Junior’s Post 29. The starting pitcher gave up three hits and zero runs over four innings, striking out six and walking two. Duncan Sanders stepped on the bump first for New Phila Black Sox Jr Legion Post 139 15U. The starter gave up three hits and four runs over six innings, striking out three and walking six. JAXSON BAY threw one inning of no-run ball for Zanesville Junior’s Post 29 in relief. The reliever gave up zero hits, striking out one and walking one.

CHEMA went 1-for-2 at the plate and led the team with two runs batted in. BRODY MERCKLE, LANDON ROBBINS, and CHEMA each collected one hit for Zanesville Junior’s Post 29. Zanesville Post 29 Sr. Legion were triumphant over NP Black Sox Post 139 9-4 on Saturday.

Zanesville Post 29 Sr. Legion got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after #12 induced Mahki Murray to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored, Trevor Hague doubled, scoring two runs, and Jensen Parry singled, scoring two runs.

A single by Matthew Rizer, a walk by Soloman Norris, and a fly out by Hague helped Zanesville Post 29 Sr. Legion extend their early lead in the second.

Murray led things off on the hill for Zanesville Post 29 Sr. Legion. The right-handed pitcher allowed four hits and four runs (three earned) over five and two-thirds innings, striking out seven and walking five. #12 began the game for NP Black Sox Post 139. The pitcher surrendered six hits and nine runs over six innings, striking out one and walking six. Karter Burrell tossed one inning of shutout ball for Zanesville Post 29 Sr. Legion in relief. NP Black Sox Post 139 were the first to get on the board in the first when a passed ball scored one run.

Zanesville Post 29 Sr. Legion made the score 4-1 in the bottom of the first after an error scored one run, Jensen Parry drew a walk, scoring one run, and a steal of home scored two runs.

A walk by Soloman Norris, and a single by Mahki Murray helped Zanesville Post 29 Sr. Legion extend their early lead in the second.

Zanesville Post 29 Sr. Legion added to their early lead in the bottom of the third inning after Matthew Rizer singled to center field, Austin Sine was struck by a pitch, and Ja’ckye McBride walked, each scoring one run.
