Happy National Girls & Women in Sports Day to our fierce female athletes!

The girls that make up MVP softball are also basketball players, rugby players, volleyball players, dancers, cheerleaders, soccer players, tennis players & golfers. These young women push themselves to do great things no matter what field, court, stage or course they are on. These young ladies strive to be the best leaders they can be not only in athletics but in all aspects of their lives.

What a 2025 12U/14U season for MVP SOFTBALL. These girls overcame a lot this year and have definitely come out stronger, not only as athletes but as friends, teammates, daughters & students. This game teaches you more than what you see on the field and our girls have taken their skills and lessons learned and applied them to all aspects of their teenage lives. MVP not only has great softball players these girls are also NHS students, Honors/AP students, dancers, volleyball players, rugby players, basketball players, photographers, theatre production staff & so many more things.

This season each player had their own accomplishments & achievements, they used those big moments not only for themselves but to push their team to wins, not only in the scorebook but also in the dugouts.

We had more trips to the ER, Urgent Care and Orthopedic Offices than we can count. Parents restocked bandaids, ice packs & KT Tape on multiple occasions. But these girls would take each injury and use it as fuel to win & be better than they were the day before.

MVP Softball is lucky to have each one of these girls! The players & families make the long weekends worth all the blood, sweat, tears, time & energy that goes into this wild world of travel softball.

WHO ARE WE?!?? MVP

This past weekend some of our MVP girls participated in the PG ALL-STATE GAMES. The girls played games in the rain over 3 days and each of them battled hard. They each had some great personal growth this weekend as well as representing the MVP name outstandingly.

Madison Paul helped her team ASG 12U Team England bring home the GOLD Bracket CHAMPIONSHIP. Team England went into the championship game undefeated so the opposing team had to beat them twice. The opposing team got the first win, but in sudden death after each team tied the first inning, our MADISON hit a WALK OFF DOUBLE to secure the victory for her team! Mads was selected championship game MVP!!

Saige Locklear helped her team ASG 12U Team Stepp bring home the SILVER Bracket CHAMPIONSHIP! Team Stepp also went into the championship game undefeated and would have had to be beaten twice. Team Stepp secured the win in the first game! Saige was selected MVP for the play-in game.

Addison Horton played on ASG 14U Team Jernigan. Her team battled hard all weekend but unfortunately did not make it to the championship game. Our Andy battled hard in the field and at the plate, batting .429 on the weekend with 0 strikeouts over 7 games.

Two weekends ago SOPHIA KING also played in the PG ALL-STATE GAMES as well. Sophia helped her team ASG 14U LEE bring home the SILVER Bracket CHAMPIONSHIP game. Sophia was selected as game MVP.

MVP is super proud of these girls and we want to give a SHOUTOUT to all their teammates who push them week in & week out to be better ballers. Knowing they had solid support behind them, at home made balling out that much easier.
