GAME DAY!!! NCHSAA 1A Women's Soccer Third Round, No. 7 East Wake Academy (14-7-1) @ No. 6 Woods Charter (14-4-1), at Briar Chapel Park. Kickoff is set for 5:30 p.m. as the Eagles look to advance past the Round of 16.

To do so the Eagles will need to contend with Woods senior Isabel Pearce, who is currently tied for the all-time goal scoring mark in the state of North Carolina across all classifications. Pearce currently has 71 tallies on the season and 217 for her career.

The winner advances to take on No. 5 Spring Creek (16-5-1), in a State Quarterfinal matchup, whom the Eagles defeated 3-2 down in Seven Springs, NC, back on March 1st. The Gators were victorious against No. 8 Roxboro Community, 3-0, in a Third Round match last night.
