After 7800 miles of abouse on my personal 462cc drz (the one that made 64.66hp) I pulled the cylinder head off. It wasn’t broke even tho I tried to get things to fail. I pulled it off to install the improved Myers Racing stage 3+ CNC ported head. I am looking to break 65hp this time around. Vacuum tested the head with 7800 miles on it. The head still seals great. Amazing what a good valve job can do

Putting together a DRZ head. This head got +1mm ferrea exhaust valves, standard ferrea intake valves, cnc valve job, and new valve seals. This head will be running with a myers Racing 94mm big bore kit.

I was a chinook mechanic with 1id and 2id. Let’s see what my all my follower did.

This head was sent to us with problems getting the shims right. Pulled the head apart to see the intake valves about .5mm smaller then they started. Cleaned up the head in the v***r blaster like every head I do here. Did a valve job on the Newen and replace the bad valves with ferrea stainless valves. As for all head that come in for a valve job it was shimmed to spec then put together and sent out. For any on your cylinder head needs contact us today.

DRZ400 head sent out today. This head has pitting on the exhaust valves so they were replaced with ferrea standard size valves. It also got a valve job seeing it wasn’t sealing. It was also v***r blaster like all heads coming to us are. This head is now better then new and ready to preform.

Finally got stock numbers on the same dyno.

This is all on the same dyno. This shows that even the Myers Racing 434cc package makes double the hp of stock. More improvements coming in the next few weeks.

2 heads just came off the Newen. After they are assembled and the valves are adjusted they will be sent out today. Both heads are cut for +1mm exhaust valves and standard size intakes.

One of the mods that is done to all the bikes with bigger motors here at Myers Racing is this airbox mod. It was tested on the 462cc to gain around 7hp over the 3x3 mod. With this mod you can run the bike with the filter door off and on and power does not change. It gives the bigger motors the air that is needed to make power. This mod was also done to the 434cc that was recently dynoed that made 59hp.
