A lot of people think clear communication is about speaking louder.
But actually… It’s about moving your mouth more!
Especially if English isn’t your first language, small adjustments can make a HUGE difference in how clearly people understand you.
And this is one of the practical work we do inside my On-Demand Master Program.
Want to communicate with more clarity, confidence, and presence, at your own pace?

The ripple effect is real, and it’s here again!
I’M BACK IN GUATEMALA!!! 🇬🇹🌋🎤
For the 3rd year in a row, I’m Hosting the Main Stage at Volcano Summit 2026!
Every year, this community reminds me that the magic of an event isn’t only what happens on stage.
It’s the conversations that create collaborations.
The introductions that create opportunities.
The ideas that keep growing long after everyone goes home.
Which makes this year’s theme, Echoes of Expansion, feel pretty perfect.
After two years on that stage, coming back genuinely feels like returning to a community that continues to be so very special to me.
🗓️ September 5–7
Let’s make some echoes!! 🌋
Getting nervous before speaking in public is NORMAL.
And a lot of people just say:
“Be more confident!”
Great. Thanks. 😂 But HOW?
I still get nervous before speaking, so here are a few things I actually do when it happens:
1️⃣ Stop trying to be perfect.
The more I chase perfection, the less connected I become. I focus on being PRESENT instead.
2️⃣ Return to my WHY.
Why does this matter to me? Why do I want this audience to hear it? Connecting to purpose gets me out of my own head.
3️⃣ Stretch and ground my body.
Open the chest. Drop the shoulders. Relax the jaw. Feel your feet on the floor. Speaking is physical!
4️⃣ Control my breath.
Slow inhale for 4. Long exhale for 4.
Then I visualize the first 10 seconds being amazing.
5️⃣ Know your message. OUT LOUD.
Know your key points, transitions, and examples. You cannot rehearse in your head. Get the words in your mouth!
6️⃣ Shift to gratitude.
Sometimes backstage I literally remind myself: “Chris, look where you are. You get to do this. GO HAVE FUN!”
The goal isn’t to magically stop feeling nervous.
It’s knowing what to DO when the nerves show up.
Save this for your next presentation. You’ll thank yourself backstage.

Today is a HUGE day. A day we are making HERstory.
Its the 1st ever FIS Femtech Innovation Summit and I’m so proud to be the Host!
Over the last week, I had the opportunity to work with the amazing women founders who are presenting their ideas and passions today as part of the Women’s Health Innovation Showcase & Pitch Hackathon, sponsored by Universidad de Los Andes and enlaza.
We worked on their stories, their delivery, and how to communicate the incredible ideas behind their companies.
And in just a few hours, I get the front row seat to watch them take the stage and DO IT FOR REAL!
There are so many inspiring people working to change the future of women’s health, and I’m thrilled to be apart of it all.
FIS 2026 brings together investors, startups, corporate leaders, healthcare professionals, academia, and organizations working across women’s health in Latin America.
It’s all part of , created by the Camara de Comércio de Bogotá
See you there! 💜
Bogotá… ¡ya casi! 🇨🇴🚀
I’m SO excited to be part of GOFEST 2026!
From August 26–29, founders, investors, innovators, and ecosystem builders will come together to connect, share ideas, and keep building the future of Colombia and Latin America.
And that’s what I love about these events.
You never know which conversation becomes a collaboration, which introduction opens a door, or which idea turns into something MUCH bigger.
Especially during challenging moments, coming together, continuing to create, and believing in what’s possible matters.
I’m so happy to be part of it. ❤️
¡Nos vemos muy pronto, Bogotá! 🇨🇴

Digital nomad life is officially back! ✈️🌎
Living out of a suitcase, forgetting time zones, and occasionally wondering which hotel room I’m sleeping in.
The next few months are going to be FULL: coaching founders, hosting conferences, leading workshops and communication labs, jumping on planes… and hopefully sleeping somewhere in between.
But one of my favorite parts of traveling isn’t actually getting on stage.
It’s meeting YOU.
So if you see your city on my upcoming schedule, come say hi, hola, or oi! It genuinely makes me so happy when someone from this community introduces themselves at an event.
Catch me if you can…
See you somewhere out there!
If you are going to one of these events, drop a comment below or DM me so we can meet!
I’ve been a digital nomad for 6+ years and I have lived in countries where I didn’t speak the language. Like… at all!
There were no subtitles. No in-ear translation.
Just me, standing there, trying to communicate with my hands and eyebrows and eyes.
And here’s what I learned: people understand so much before a single word is spoken.
The way someone tilts their head.
The weight of their footsteps.
A full-body sigh that says, “I’ve had a very intense day.”
When you can’t rely on words, you start noticing everything else: body language, facial expressions, energy shifts, tension, joy.
A room can speak, even with total silence.
And this is what I tell every founder, speaker, and leader I work with:
Your audience feels you before they follow you!
Not just what you say.
But how you stand. How you sit.
How you breathe. How you listen.
What your presence says before your pitch ever starts.
In public speaking, your body is the message.
So let me ask you this: What is your body saying before you speak?
They say the number 1 fear in the world is death.
Know what’s number 2? PUBLIC SPEAKING!
But here’s the truth:
You’re not actually afraid of speaking.
You’re afraid of being seen.
Of freezing.
Of fumbling.
Of being judged.
Of exposure.
🧠 Your brain doesn’t see an audience, it sees danger.
It flips the survival switch. Fight, flight, freeze.
But here’s the good news:
Public speaking isn’t a personality trait. It’s a skill.
And like any skill, it can be learned. Trained. Strengthened.
And when it is?
That fear becomes fuel.
Your presence expands.
Your message lands.
And you show up as your bold, clear, unforgettable self.
✨ Let’s face the fear and talk right through it!
Drop a 🎤 below if you want support, or DM me the word “FEAR” and I’ll share how we can train together.
