British professional triathlete Megan McDonald makes her debut at Challenge Samarkand.

Megan’s journey to the top shows steady progress: in 2024, she finished 2nd at Ironman 70.3 Swansea, and in 2025 she continued to confirm her level with 3rd place at Ironman 70.3 Kraków. A PTO ranking of 50 confirms her status as one of the strongest athletes in world triathlon.

Now Megan is ready to test herself on new terrain – in the women’s PRO category at Challenge Samarkand.

Swedish professional triathlete Anna Bergsten returns to Challenge Samarkand – a course where she has already reached the podium.

In 2024, 2nd place at Ironman 70.3 Western Australia and 2nd place at Ironman 70.3 Melbourne showed her high potential. In 2025, she confirmed her level, finishing 3rd in the women’s PRO category in Samarkand, and in 2026 she continued to show consistent results, taking 4th place at Ironman 70.3 Sweden. A PTO ranking of 117 confirms her status as one of the strongest athletes in world triathlon.

Now Anna returns to the Silk Road with one goal – to climb higher up the standings and fight for a spot on the podium once again.

Australian professional triathlete Milan Agnew makes her debut at Challenge Samarkand.

Milan’s journey to the top began back in 2024 with a victory at Ironman 70.3 Sunshine Coast. In 2025, she continued to confirm her level, finishing 3rd at Ironman 70.3 Kraków, and in 2026 she climbed to 2nd place on the podium at Challenge Salou. A PTO ranking of 79 confirms her status as one of the strongest athletes in world triathlon.

Now Milan is ready to test herself on new terrain – in the women’s PRO category at Challenge Samarkand.

British professional triathlete Jack Hutchens makes his debut at Challenge Samarkand.

Jack’s journey to the top began back in 2024: a victory at Challenge Vieux Boucau, followed by podium finishes at Challenge Peguera Mallorca and Challenge Barcelona, showcased his growing potential. This progress hasn’t slowed down – in 2026, Jack climbed to 2nd place on the podium at Challenge Salou, proving he’s steadily moving toward top-level results.

Now it’s time for the Silk Road. Jack arrives in Samarkand not just to test himself on a new course, but to fight for a podium finish on the Asian stage.

The men’s PRO race is getting serious.
