We hate these things!
A major safety warning has been issued for 84,000 full-face snorkel masks sold online.
Regulators say the masks could cause breathing problems that may lead to drowning. Owners are being told to stop using them immediately.
If you snorkel, this is worth checking before your next trip.

The first step taken in our journey to sail - sailing lessons! We have learned so much, had some great times, but also had some moments where we felt frustrated and discouraged. We know there is so much more for us to learn, and we can do it, so we will be busy!
It definitely feels weird to not have a home anymore, but we are inspired by all the people we meet that chase their dreams doing crazy, non-conventional things! I often miss my family, but we are coming back for a visit soon as we get organized! ♥️

Well that’s a wrap. After almost 13 years in business we are finally moving on. Moving out wasn’t easy and Jill and I could not have done it without the help of several good friends and family. We really appreciated it!!! Over the last 13 years I have had the good fortune to work with many great staff members, instructors and Divemasters. They all helped to contribute to make Adventure Sports the great shop it was. We have all made many great friends through the shop and both Jill and I want to thank all our customers for the support we received, the laughs we had and the great times and trips!!! We were able to do somw pretty cool trips over the years.
We definitely will miss you guys and hope to see you again soon…..Wait until hou see our new boat … in the coming weeks and months more info will become available on our next adventure ….
It was unfortunate we were unable to find a successor but as many of you know I tried…..lol. This is the first time in over 40 years that Newmarket hasn’t had a dive shop. For those looking for a new shop we have worked closely over the years with Scuba 2000 in Richmond Hill and with Dave at the Barrie Scuba House. The York Region Scuba Club also offer local dive trips.
I am also trying to sell our dive boat so if anyone is interested in a side business feel free to message me.
It is sad but it’s not Goodbye but more until we see you again.

Almost moved out now!
A simple dinner shared on a recycling bin followed by a bit too much wine, and a few laughs.
