I pray for my eyes to see the magic in each moment. The courage to take the next single step, to follow the call of the wild, to stand naked but never alone, to surrender to the unknown and allow for the joyous adventure to unfold before me. For I know, each single step towards novelty is a catalyst for evolution. While I already love where I’m at, I’m so excited to see where we are going!

“Why can’t you be more like _____?” F**k that! Because I am Me and because I am Free! I’m not here to be anyone else, to fit a mold, bend or bow to the little self, in you, in me or anybody else; other than the God/Goddess within. Which means that I will build the pillars of my own temple, through my Love, humility, vulnerability and Grace. I will dance under the moonlight, to the drumbeat of my heart, following my own unique path and will pray for you to do the same.

Thank you for making your will so uncomfortable that it forced me to follow my own. Thank you for going after what you wanted so that I could remember to pursue my own. Thank you for not recognizing my worth so that I could remember that it never had anything to do with you and I could recognize my own! Thank you for guiding me home.

That chapter of abandonment is done! And for a pulsing, strong willed, stubborn heart like my own in order for it to be done, it needed to be obliterated; not just once, not just twice but time and time again until I learned to love myself as much as I once loved you then. Now this doesn’t mean that my love for you has gone away, its expression is simply indifference to me. And isn’t that what unconditional love was supposed to be all along? Where you do you and I do me, then we meet in the middle lovingly.

I no longer see you as my demon but my Damon and damn that feels good!

The potential and expectations that I placed on you were a prison to us both.

Unraveling old narratives, now when I close my eyes, it is the past that has taught me but the future that is calling me. To write a new story, with my pleasure is my guide, and from that I will no longer hide. While I liberated my mind to fantasize, my heart stays present, where it resides. We are here to intertwine with the divine. If we cross paths again it’s not for me to decide. I have my guides. We are both untied 🧶
