For 50 years, Caribbean Dance School has been a place where young dancers can learn, grow, build confidence, and experience the joy and discipline of dance. Now, we’re welcoming a new generation of students into the Caribbean Dance family.

Classes are available for students ages 2½ and up, with training in Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Tap, Afro-Caribbean, Hip Hop and more.

178 years after our ancestors marched to Fort Frederik and demanded their freedom, we continue to honor their courage through movement, music, and memory.

For nearly 50 years, Caribbean Dance School has remained committed to preserving and celebrating the history, culture, and spirit of the Virgin Islands through dance.

From our beginnings in Africa…
to the Akwamu Revolt of 1733…
to the Emancipation of 1848…
to the Fireburn led by Queen Mary and the Three Queens…
to Queen Coziah’s Dollar fo’ Dollar Strike…

Their stories continue to live within us.

Today, we remember those who refused to accept bo***ge, celebrate the strength of those who came before us, and recommit ourselves to preserving Virgin Islands history through the arts for generations to come.
