Greetings , soap lovers ! I want to say thank you for those that had a chance to come out to the Bazaar Bizarre for the holidays . It's a great display of community and family fun, and we all need more of that in our lives !
And now for some REAL NEWS...
I'm in the kitchen again with some delicious new scents and designs.
Pictures and details and maybe some poetry inspired by soap to come by Monday...
Who likes coffee? I mean can't LIVE without coffee.
Or...chocolate covered berries.
Or...a zesty wasabi-esque ocean breeze.

Tomorrow is the Bizarre Bazaar! 11am-4pm. Love City Soap and chief tester/CEO Noah will be under the tree in the backyard with some gorgeously sniffable island themed soaps , as well as some holiday smells to warm your heart... If mango and hibiscus just don't say "happy holidays" to you yet.
Elana will be showcasing jewelry ( just in time to gussy up for the holidays) and Frankie's Hot Sauce so please stop and say HI! There's food, crafts , Santa, probably some goats, beer and wine. Lots of children running amok. It's going to be awesome!!

It's beginning to smell a lot , A LOT... like the holidays around here. I'm back in the kitchen making some holiday themed soaps (think iced pine/fresh snow/cranberry spice ) as well as some gorgeous Love City Soap customer favorites like Sea Glass, Mango Smoothie, Lavender, and Island Fever.

Summer is hitting hard this year in St. John .... Gorgeous days shimmering with heat ...and Love City Soap is on vacation. That's our chief soap tester chasing seagulls at Francis Bay.
Your response to our soaps this past year has been amazing, and let's me know that people want and appreciate something a little different. I want YOU to know that while on vacation , I am tweaking and streamlining and brainstorming for this fall. If you have stopped me at the post office, or grocery store, to tell me how much you NEEEED more soap in your life...thank you and I hear you. Hang in there and stay tuned for more details and easier ways to get some Love City Soap in your life. Because the little things matter when the world gets a little wonky. So back to the creative lab we go.

Who likes the scent of warm butter and maple syrup? ME!!! No it is not a new soap. Yet.
March 8th is National Pancake Day! I'm not sure if this is a real event or solely a creation of IHOP to spur business...but I am ready to celebrate!

Growing up, my Mom made pancakes for us Saturday mornings, and I've continued this tradition with Noah. I like to slice bananas and lay them into the wet batter right before you flip the pancake over. They caramelize a little bit. Then mix peanut butter/yogurt/honey into a dip instead of syrup.
How do YOU like pancakes?

Nothing better than a double rainbow! I couldn't see the second one but it showed up in my pic. I actually pulled off the road it was so pretty over the dark water...unlike you who stopped in the middle of the road. I won't tag you here but I saw you , and the loser who gunned it to pass you on a curve. And I applaud you for taking the time out to enjoy a fleeting moment ; )
