All of the vocalists are talented solo and choral singers, with specialised experience of sacred music in general, and chant in particular. Schola Hyberniae is in much demand throughout Ireland and abroad for recitals, cultural presentations, liturgies, carol services, and more. The close harmonies of the group's polyphonic singing, as well as the strong, seamless unison sound, make Schola Hyberniae a distinctive vocal ensemble. The group is privileged to enjoy a close working relationship with Dr Ann Buckley, Director of the AMRA project and a musicologist specialising in chant for Irish saints. In this collaboration, Schola Hyberniae has had the opportunity to perform and record many chants which have lain undiscovered and unvoiced for centuries.
